Justice Tribe is excited to launch a college endowment fund to support students from underserved communities
Award Amount Range: $500-$1000 (multiple recipients will receive awards)
Eligibility Criteria:

Open to students within the African diaspora, Indigenous students, LatinX students, and Pacific Islander students dedicated to advancing social justice and uplifting their communities in the future

Must be accepted and enrolled in any 4-year public/private institution of higher education for Fall 2020

2.75 minimum gpa

Video introduction (1-2 minutes in length)

Essay submission (2 pages)

Must submit an official sealed transcript. If you are unable to order one as a result of the pandemic, then please send an unofficial transcript to info@justicetribe.org

Essay Prompt:
If given the opportunity to work on a social justice issue in your community or a global social justice issue, what issue would you choose to work on and why? What are the potential challenges you may encounter and how would you go about overcoming those potential obstacles?

Video Introduction Guidelines:
Create and provide the URL link to a 1-2minute video introducing yourself to the Justice Tribe College Fund Review Committee telling them your personal story and aspirations. Be as authentic as possible.
